During this season of giving, we wanted to celebrate our amazing members by offering this fantastic deal, giving back to the community that has supported us through this crazy year of unpredictability!  Our members are the core of BaseCamp’s existence, and we recognize that they have helped carry us through the past months - both emotionally and physically.  So this is a THANK YOU to all.

*Because of the current climate, we will continue to offer complimentary freezing of our memberships.  If you feel sick, have to quarantine, move away, etc - we will pause your membership until you return - just give us a call to make a freezing request!  In the case of any state mandated shutdowns, BaseCamp automatically freeze all of our current members accounts, at no charge or loss of days to the member. *

So for one day only, join us in celebrating Small Businesses this Saturday - and take $50 off your annual membership here at BaseCamp!  And while you’re at it, don’t forget to shop local for your other needs and gifts: support your favorite coffee shops, restaurants, local retailers and artists.  This year, shopping small means even more than ever as you directly support the businesses that give Reno it’s flair and personality. Together, let's #shopsmall this Saturday and keep Reno rad!

Reel Rock - Honest Review

Spoilers may be below - you’ve been warned! Reel Rock has been worked into my yearly film watching routine, and the last several years, I’ve felt a little let down. As I’ve aged and seen climbing film after climbing film, I’m looking for the storytelling, not just the epic drone imagery of the crazy hard send that relies on a mono pocket or razor sharp crimp.
