Core Training

One of the most crucial components to training for climbing is developing a strong core. A solid core can help increase your climbing ability, prevent injury, and maintain good posture. This quick but intense class will focus on traditional core exercises with rests in between the sets.

Instructor: Brittany Boulet

Shoulder Strength

Climbing is extremely shoulder oriented. This class will focus on shoulder stabilization. The session has been designed to help correct posture and activate multiple muscles surrounding the shoulders and back. Our shoulder class is good for building a foundation for upper body strength and also building the intrinsic muscles of the scapula.

Instructor: Sonomi Imagawa

Top-Rope Clinic

This introductory class instructs participants on how to properly belay with a gri-gri belay device, tie the figure 8 knot, and work on climbing communication skills.

Instructor: Mandy Fuller

Cardio Bootcamp

This full body session will get your blood pumping and increase your cardio.  The group will rotate through various stations with exercises such as mountain climbers, high knees, burpees, lunges, wall sits, bicycles, squats, ladder runs, etc. Because this class is structured around time based rotations, this style of workout can be made challenging for any fitness level, is quick paced, and fun!

Instructor: Leah Wzientek

Climbing Endurance

Tired of falling off the last move on your project? That’s likely due to a lack of endurance! This class will keep you feeling strong even when your at the top of a climb. It consists of ARC training, 4x4s, and circuits.

Instructor: Nathan Ferreira

Reel Rock - Honest Review

Spoilers may be below - you’ve been warned! Reel Rock has been worked into my yearly film watching routine, and the last several years, I’ve felt a little let down. As I’ve aged and seen climbing film after climbing film, I’m looking for the storytelling, not just the epic drone imagery of the crazy hard send that relies on a mono pocket or razor sharp crimp.
